About Lynn Ellen Bathke

Lynn Ellen Bathke is an artist, designer and textile conservator based in Los Angeles, CA. She is the founder/owner of Bathke Bespoke, California’s first made-to-measure women’s footwear label. Lynn has designed costume and textiles for dance, film, and theater in Los Angeles and Chicago. Her conservation projects have ranged from Taiwan’s beloved Formosa Republic Flag to some of Hollywood’s most iconic costumes, for many major museums including the Victoria & Albert Museum, The National Taiwan Museum, The Skirball Cultural Center, LACMA, FIDM, and The Academy Museum of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. She received her BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and her MA in Textile Conservation from the TCC at The University of Southampton, UK.
